The Most Important U.S. Holiday is in September – You’ll Never Guess Which It Is

Can you name the U.S. holiday in September that arguably represents one of the most important things in American history?

Citizens of the United States have celebrated Independence Day and Labor Day since the late 1800s. It was not until 2005 however, that the nation began to celebrate Constitution Day.

Also known as Citizenship Day, Constitution Day is an American holiday honoring the day when 39 delegates to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, PA, signed the United States Constitution. That historic date was September 17, 1787.

Why should Americans recognize Constitution day? The freedoms that we enjoy and revere on a daily basis are the foundation for this holiday, easily making it as significant in importance as our incredible July celebration of Independence Day

is the perfect film to watch on Constitution Day with your spouse, children or even friends. Key aspects of the Constitution and important Amendments are clearly communicated throughout the film, including those guaranteeing freedom of religion and speech, the right to bear arms, warrants for search and seizure, and more.

We encourage all Americans to observe this important day in our nation's history by attending local events in your area. Celebrate Constitution Day through activities, learning, parades and demonstrations of our Love for the United State of America and the Blessings of Freedom Our Founding Fathers secured for us.
