The Educational Dramatic Comedy movie In Search of Liberty, has been accepted to screen at the Hoboken International Film Festival 2018. Hailed as one of the top 10 film festivals in the world, HIFF runs from May 18-24 and is hosted by Greenwood Lake, NY, and held at the Thomas Morahan Waterfront Park - On the Beach. As a one-of-a-kind EduDramedy, In Search of Liberty is an entertaining and informative movie about the U.S. Constitution that was produced and directed by Norm Novitsky (Pray for Morning), with the screenplay by Tom Solari (The Measure of America).
In the movie, a captivating statesman from America’s past takes a modern-day family on a series of wild adventures. With a spicy mix of humor, magic and logic, he opens their eyes to the origins and importance of the U.S. Constitution, the degree to which it is under attack today and what can and must be done to save it.

In Search of Liberty features accomplished stage, TV and movie actor Jimmy Hagar; Bobby Deen a familiar face on numerous cooking shows and the son of American celebrity chef Paula Deen; publisher and talented movie, TV and voiceover actress, Karen Boles; Simone Griffeth, who starred alongside David Carradine and Sylvester Stallone in Death Race 2000, along with rising teen stars, Kayla Huth and Tyler Huth.
Special highlights at the Hoboken this year will be the presentation of the 2018 HIFF Excellence in Acting & Arts Award to Grammy Award winner Tia Carrere (True Lies, Wayne’s World), and Karen McCullach (Legally Blonde, Ella Enchanted) will accept the Lifetime Achievement Award in Writing. In addition, on opening night, the HIFF Lifetime Achievement Award in Acting will be presented to Louis Gossett, Jr. (An Officer and a Gentleman, Iron Eagle), following a special video tribute.
