The biggest problem, regardless of what Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer now say, is that Democrats have no problem letting illegal aliens cross our border and take advantage of our system where liberal politicians feel compelled to use taxpayer money to take care of these illegal immigrants.
The proof of that can readily be seen.
For example, the governor of California and the mayor of New York City, both of which are calling themselves a sanctuary state and a sanctuary city, have declared that they are paying for the medical benefits of illegals.
And, where does that money come from -- the American taxpayer.
Even if 60% or more of the voters in those areas agree, that means that there are still millions of taxpayers in CA and NYC who, more than likely, are against illegal immigration and do NOT want their tax dollars paying for people who decide to make their home here illegally.
We have a system in place to enter the country through legal channels and become a member of our society.
Those here illegally are infringing on our rights due to the financial burden it places on us because politicians are using our money to care for them.
THAT, quite simply, is unconstitutional.
Article IV, Section 4, of the Constitution of the United States reads:
“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union, a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot convene) against domestic violence.”
One of the definitions of invasion, from the 1828 Webster's Dictionary, is "An attack on the rights of another; infringement or violation."
Factually, any person or family who has entered our country illegally, remains here and is given taxpayer money for any reason, is an invader as they are infringing on our unalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness due to the additional financial burden it places on us to pay for illegals.
What this means is that ANY person in Congress who does not protect us from illegals invading our country (but, instead, invites them in as Chuck basically did on national TV, on January 8, 2019) is violating their Oath of Office and should be removed (without benefits).
That really is the simplicity of the argument.
They enter legally or not at all and we must secure and protect our borders to ensure it.
Too many people in Congress are getting away with violating their Oath of Office and it is time for this to end.
The only way that we can safeguard our freedom for ourselves and our posterity is to stay true to our US Constitution.
Make sure that you, your family and all of your friends are armed with the knowledge of the US Constitution and demand that your elected representatives (not your leaders as they like to call themselves) follow it as they are legally obliged to do.
You can easily learn the basics of our Constitution by watching the In Search of Liberty movie, especially the Education Edition. For further study enroll in a one-day Constitution Boot Camp from Building Blocks for Liberty or consider joining KrisAnne Hall's Liberty First University.
